My dear Friend Val Breummer sent me some wedge offcuts from one of her first quilts she called “Psychedelic Kitchen” (Vintage Spin Quilt Pattern by Kathy Doughty).

These arc offcuts when pieced together on the straight side made an intriguing checkered orange-peel shape. I drafted my own 9” orange peel templates to create two quilts from the offcuts she sent - one for me and one for Val - just two Psychedelic Sisters.
